Data Deletion Instructions
We respect your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can delete your account and personal data from the Sportsman app.
β οΈ Important Notice: Account deletion is irreversible. All your data will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
1. Ways to Delete Data
You can delete your data using the following methods:
1.1 Directly in the App (Recommended)
Step 1: Open the Sportsman app
Step 2: Go to "Profile" or "Settings" section
Step 3: Select "Account Settings"
Step 4: Click "Delete Account"
Step 5: Confirm deletion by entering your password
Step 6: Click "Permanently Delete Account"

If you cannot use the app, send us a request via email:

2. Data That Will Be Deleted
After deleting your account, we will remove the following data:
2.1 Personal Information
- Name, surname, and nickname
- Email address and phone number
- Profile photo
- Date of birth and other demographic data
- Location data
2.2 App Activity
- Sports events history
- Photos and posts
- Comments and ratings
- Messages and conversations
- Statistics and performance data
2.3 Technical Data
- Login credentials
- Device information
- App logs related to your account
- Analytics data directly linked to your profile
3. Data That Remains
For legal or technical reasons, certain data may remain:
3.1 Anonymized Data
- Aggregate statistics without personal identification
- Anonymous analytics data for service improvement
3.2 Legal Obligations
- Accounting records (billing data) - 10 years
- Records of disputes or legal proceedings
- Data required by regulatory authorities
3.3 Security Reasons
- Records of terms violations (to prevent re-registration)
- Security incident logs
4. Deletion Timeline
Immediate: Your profile becomes inactive and invisible to other users
24 hours: Deletion from active databases
30 days: Deletion from backup copies
90 days: Complete deletion from all systems (except legal exceptions)
5. Before Deleting Your Account
We recommend before deletion:
- Download a copy of your data (in app settings)
- Cancel all Premium subscriptions
- Complete or cancel pending sports events
- Inform team members about your departure
- Save important contacts and information
6. Alternatives to Complete Deletion
6.1 Account Deactivation
Instead of deletion, you can temporarily deactivate your account:
- Profile will be invisible
- Data remains preserved
- Recovery possible within 6 months
6.2 Privacy Settings Adjustment
- Limit profile visibility
- Delete specific data
- Disable tracking
7. After Account Deletion
7.1 What Happens
- You cannot use old login credentials
- You will not receive emails or notifications
- Your name disappears from comments and ratings
- Organized events will be transferred or cancelled
7.2 New Registration
- You can re-register with the same email
- It will be considered a completely new account
- No old data will be restored
